People working with youth can advance their skills through a ‘Youth Work Intensive’. This is a series of skill building workshops focused on the knowledge and practice of youth work. It brings together trainers and leading practitioners to provide sessions focused on skill development, promising practices, and tools for everyday use. Accordingly, each workshop will address a broad topic while giving particular attention to tools, methods and strategies. Learn more about the intensive and the registration process.

Students, faculty, staff and administration of today and yester-year will bid farewell to the existing facility of the Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical Academy during a celebration on June 2.
The event, which will include video presentations, DJ-spun hits of the decades, food, special “memory lanes” and much more will be held from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m. at the school, 1300 State St.
The family, fun-filled event is open to the public.
